Tamil Nadu is a South Indian state in India where it is famous for its Dravidian style of Hindu Temples. Tamil is the official language of Tamil Nadu and its capital is Chennai which is the largest City. The famous Meenakshi Amman Temple has high gopuram (towers) in Madurai District. Ooty, Kodaikanal, and Valparai are the famous hill stations in Tamil Nadu. Ooty is known as the queen of hills. Chennai is known for its Marina Beach, Shopping, and IT Hub. Coimbatore is famous for its pleasant climate and respectful way of talking. One of the famous Pamban bridges is at Rameswaram, which is constructed in the sea. Chera, Chola, and Pandyan are the great three empires who ruled this region before British colonial rule.
